Luke Shaw Spotted in Slippers Amid Fresh Injury Concerns for Manchester United Star

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw was seen walking in slippers on the streets of Wilmslow, sparking fresh concerns over his ongoing injury struggles. The 29-year-old left-back has endured a difficult season, making just three substitute appearances under manager Ruben Amorim due to persistent muscle injuries.

Shaw has not played since United’s 4-0 win over Everton in December, and shortly after, he confirmed another setback.
Despite returning to training before United’s Europa League victory at FCSB, fears emerged that his injury issues had worsened. However, sources close to the club suggest that the latest setback is minor, with Shaw expected to rejoin training on Monday.

Ahead of Manchester United’s FA Cup clash with Leicester, the England international was spotted out in casual attire, wearing black Ugg slippers, sweatpants, and a puffer jacket.

Shaw faces competition from January signing Patrick Dorgu, who joined from Lecce for £25 million, as Amorim looks to solidify his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation.

With Tyrell Malacia loaned out to PSV Eindhoven, Shaw and Dorgu are set to battle for the starting left-back spot.

Since joining Manchester United from Southampton in 2014, Shaw has registered four goals and 25 assists in 278 appearances across all competitions.
