Despite an early shock when Fabio Silva scored within 28 seconds—marking one of the fastest goals Madrid has conceded in LaLiga since 2011—Mbappé quickly restored momentum. The French star equalized from the penalty spot after Rodrygo was fouled and then scored a second goal just minutes after Brahim Diaz put Madrid ahead.
