Dani Olmo Commits to Barcelona Despite Transfer Rumors and Registration Challenges
Barcelona has received reassurance that Dani Olmo will not seek a January transfer, despite ongoing uncertainties surrounding his registration status.
The Catalan club failed to meet the December 31 deadline to secure Olmo’s registration for the remainder of the season. Efforts to raise the necessary funds and present sufficient documentation have yet to bear fruit, leaving the situation in a delicate state.
La Liga and the RFEF recently issued a joint statement confirming that no additional player registrations, including for Olmo and teammate Pau Victor, will be permitted for their competitions this season.
According to Marca, Olmo and his representatives remain confident in Barcelona’s ability to resolve the issue through legal avenues. They are prepared to wait patiently for the outcome of the club’s appeal.
Only if all potential solutions are exhausted would Olmo consider leaving Barcelona. The Spain international has reportedly drawn interest from Serie A and Premier League clubs for a possible six-month loan.
