Real Madrid Targets Martin Zubimendi and Vitinha for 2025 Summer Transfer Window

Real Madrid has revealed its intentions for the 2025 summer transfer window, with the Spanish giants focused on strengthening their midfield. The club’s main priority is to acquire a top central midfielder capable of controlling the tempo in the middle of the park. Two standout players on their radar are Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Vitinha from Paris Saint-Germain.
Although PSG’s Vitinha is considered a long shot due to strained relations between the two clubs, he remains a potential target, despite his contract running until 2027. The primary focus, however, is on Zubimendi, whose €60m release clause is attracting the attention of major European clubs, including Liverpool and Barcelona, who have shown interest in the past. While Liverpool attempted to activate the clause, Zubimendi chose to remain at Real Sociedad. However, reports suggest that he could be more open to a move next summer, giving Real Madrid a chance to secure his signature.
As Real Madrid prepares for the 2025 summer transfer window, their pursuit of these elite midfielders could prove to be a decisive move to bolster their squad and maintain their dominance in European football.
